Are you a creative mind and full of imagination? Then take part in our design competition! We are looking for your creativity for the Corporate Design of the 34th Heidelberger Symposium for posters, flyers, social media and our website! Send us your idea proposal on our theme “zeit.los” / “time.less” together with the registration form by January, 8th 2023 to firstname.lastname@example.org and have the chance to win 500€ and be honored at the upcoming Symposium!
The Heidelberg Symposium is an annual, three-day forum on a current topic of social relevance. It is organized by the Heidelberger Club für Wirtschaft und Kultur e.V. (HCWK), an independent, non-partisan and interdisciplinary student initiative. The HCWK is recognized as a non-profit association and its activities are primarily supported by the voluntary commitment of the student organization team. The HCWK’s mission is to promote dialogue between students and leading figures from politics, business, academia and culture. About 40 speakers and about 1000 visitors take part in the event. The 34th Heidelberg Symposium will take place from May 11 to 13, 2023 at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
You may be asking yourself what exactly a corporate design should include and what we mean by it. The corporate design is the entire, uniform appearance of the symposium – an appealing logo is part of this appearance, but only a single element of it.
To participate, please send us your design proposals for:
A Logo, that can be easily used on a variety of promotional materials (e.g., social media, t-shirts, bags, and other printed materials),
as well as a poster in DIN-A1-format.
Other design proposals, such as for a flyer in DIN A6 format, are optional, but also welcome and can be included in the decision-making process! You can find more information about the conditions of participation on the registration form.Other design proposals, such as for a flyer in DIN A6 format, are optional, but also welcome and can be included in the decision-making process! You can find more information about the conditions of participation on the registration form. The logo should fit this year’s theme “zeit.los” and be suitable to represent the symposium in different ways. It should be easily recognizable so that it can be used, for example, on T-shirts, jute bags, stickers, etc.
The winning design will be awarded the Heidelberg Art and Culture Prize (KKP) and will be displayed everywhere in Heidelberg and the surrounding area to get people excited about the symposium. You are welcome to use the posters from previous years for orientation.
We look forward to your submissions and idea suggestions!
Note: Our call for entries is primarily aimed at students and lay people who are interested in design and would like to support a non-profit event in order to be able to apply and expand their (design) skills in the process. Of course, the rights of use of the submitted designs remain with the participants (with the exception of the winning design – more details in the registration form).
